Also pay attention to the set of necessary tools to perform the work.

For leveling the floor base is best to use special formulations that harden quickly enough, as well as spread on their own. Such compositions are also called self-levelling mixtures for floors.

The thickness of self-leveling floors is small. As a rule, it is up to 2.5 centimeters. To date, self-leveling floors are quite popular due to the ease of use and excellent qualities.

The mixture for floors when pouring is poured on the floor, spreads, filling all irregularities under gravity. To align the floors with these mixes quite easy here, even for novice repairmen. After pouring and hardening the surface becomes smooth and smooth, which allows you to start laying the final coating.

For proper preparation of the floor before leveling is necessary to make a thorough cleaning, you need to remove anything that can put solidification, proper casting and so on. Then the floor should be treated with a metal brush, or a special machine to remove small particles from the floor.

Then carefully sweep out all the garbage, re-clean with a vacuum cleaner. It is very important that there is no dust and debris.

After everything is ready, it is necessary to close up all openings in a floor. This is necessary in order to avoid leakage of liquid.

Now you need to treat the floor with a special primer, the primer is applied to the floor with a thin layer without stains. If the surface is porous, then make a primer twice.

Once you have primed the floor, you can start pouring. It is necessary to correctly determine the level of infusion. To do this, apply the markup, the markup should be very clearly visible.

If you need to leave any holes in the floor, then block them with sealed materials. If the width of the room is large enough, then separate the sections with partitions. You also need to separate the leveling layer from the wall. This can be done with thin wooden slats wrapped in polyethylene film.

Now, when everything is ready to work, it is necessary to prepare a container for about 40 liters, water and mixture.

Prepare the mixture with the necessary amount of water, stirring constantly. For mixing, you can use a drill with a special nozzle.

The finished solution is poured by hand. Since the time for pouring the second portion is quite small, it is better to work together. One pours the floor, and the assistant interferes with the next portion of the solution.

For a more convenient distribution of the mixture you need to use either a spatula or a special tool for leveling.

Remember that you should start work from the farthest corner from the exit.

Just do not forget to control the overall level of the entire surface.

The approximate time of drying and hardening of the floor for the permissible load is about a day. Complete drying will occur in two or three days. Ceramic tiles can be laid three days after pouring. Linoleum, parquet, and so on through the week.

If you use Underfloor heating, you can start to turn on the heating in a week, gradually increasing the temperature. The full temperature limit is removed after a month.
